Diddy on Howard Stern

Not sure if there is anyone else with Sirius radio here or not, if so today Diddy was on the Hoaward Stern show, during the show Howard asked Diddy when big was shot, and Diddy couldn't remember, he started counting back in his head, this was supposed to be his best friend, he was in the car behind him and he don't remember the date? the comedian on the show, Artie Lang said "it was March of 97" and Diddy went, yea, that was when like he wasn't sure...just kind of crazy if you ask me. Here is the story from HowardStern.com it doesn't cover that issue, but talks about how Diddy doesn't remember too many details of the shooring because it has been so long...



Diddy brought up that the Notorious B.I.G. has another posthumously released album out now, which led Howard to wonder why his killer has never been caught. Diddy responded that he had no information, but that, if he did, he’d address the issue personally, but legally. Diddy went on to recall that he was in the vehicle behind the one which Biggie was gunned down in and that the hit was done “so professionally” that he didn’t even see the kind of automobile that was involved in the shooting. When Howard asked if Diddy knew how many times Biggie was shot, Diddy replied that, since so much time has passed since the incident, he no longer focuses on such details and instead just thinks about how much he misses his friend.

the show was pretty good overall, and Diddy got to chill with porn star Jenna Jameson for a minute and said he would be going to her lingerie bowl this weekend coinciding with superbowl activities.

Not entirely in this case but people who weren't their remember numbers dates, etc, factual things. People who were there remember what they saw, emotions they were feeling etc. Not things you only only achieve by reading.

come on we all know it was a business thing which brought them together.

more on point tho, the lack of details diddy was giving is to do with not trying to implicate anybody, diddy says the wrong thing he's gone. hes been involved with these people for years, now hes sayin he doesnt know. these are the same ppl who killed his uncle a while ago.

Good point, a friend of mine got hit by a car and died when I was 7 and I was there. I couldn't get it out of my mind for months but I don't remember the exact date although I do remember it was in the winter and I remember everything that happened clearly.

So would I, but if Biggie really meant something to Puffy, he would remember. It would be burned into the back of his skull for the rest of his life.

In 9th grade, my 7th and 8th grade English teacher passed away. I can remember every single moment of that night. I'm sitting on the floor, doing my homework. My mom walks in and looks somber. I ask what's wrong as she sits in the wooden chair for my desk. She hesitates to say anything, but then tells me she just got off the phone with Mrs. Pachioli, my friend's mother. I immediately think something's wrong with Ronnie, but she tells me that Mrs. B. collapsed in church that day and died in the hospital a little later. I remember my whole body going stiff, with my mouth open. I could hear my mom talking, but I at the same time I couldn't. It was almost ghostlike. Finally she asked if there was anything she could do, and I just told her to go. I went to my bed and just cried until I fell asleep. This was Sunday, March 24, 2002.

If Puffy can't even remember the year, I need to question how much he really cared about Biggie.

He has memories but I believe that most people would atleast remember the month and the year that their best friend died.

If I was him I'd try not think about it but it should be the type of shit that you can never forget even if you try.
