Did Redman record his verse for ‚Throw Ya Gunz Up’ specifically for Pac's mixtape ?

I just wonder, cauze it doesnt sound too much like he recorded it for Pac’s mixtape specifically, or is it an old verse from sumwhere else. I need 2 know if he did. I guess this must been mentioned sumwhere, any one know ???
