I admit to pittsey's post, when someone giving infos we shouuld appreciate it instead of wanna have proof or your credit is gone
True. Why is it that when someone like Dante posts info without any proof to back it up, everyone believes it like it's gospel (Not saying you lie Dante, I believe you know your shit, but you rarely ever show proof to back up what you say) But when someone who knew Pac, and has people to vouch for him, says something, no one wants to believe him without proof. Whatever, Candyman, don't worry what these people think, if you are telling the truth we will all find out soon enough

Why do people on this board always feel the need to try and discredit people who come hear to try and spread knowledge and give us an insight into the 2pac out of the spotlight. Candyman is a busy man but mixes with the fans and takes time out to post here. But when he does he has to come and defend himself.

Why wouldn't 2pac record a song with a kid. It doesn't necessarilly mean that the track will ever see the light of day. If he puts piss poor rappers like EDI and Noble on retail tracks then I reckon if I'd have been in the studio I would have got on.

Who has been truest to 2pac and his music throughout his whole career? Who has respected both 2pac and his music fully from the begining of digital underground and still is now? Shock G. Who is working alongside Candyman on his projects? Shcok G. Need I spell it out any further. Who else works with Candyman? Storm, Fatal, Money B, Mopreme. These are the people who knew Pac best. A couple even better than EDI, all of them better than Noble. All of them knew Pac better than us, we are just fans. So I tend to follow suit. If they're backing CM187 then so am I.

Word!
I aint got no reason 2 doubt Candyman so i believe him :thumb:

It amuses me listening to all the 15 year old Tupac fans give there knowledge on the great man and then arguing with each other about who is right and wrong , i can just see them in 96 bumping Cali love when they were 6 years old :) . I got attacked the last time i defended Candyman so will not comment as i dont have the time to argue with people 10 years younger than me , although i will refer to Pittseys post , All you experts out there read it - When grown folk talk .......
Adios - im out on the piss , all you kiddies enjoy your homework .
Peace xxx

it is true however that the people who were fans when pac was a live and who followed his career tend to embrace a little different perspective on the man. that's not to say that newer fans are any less of a fan than older ones.

I think same can go for people that grew up in the USA during the 90's have a more realistic I guess you could say take on Tupac, Ruk got mad at me for kind of putting down UK fans and shit but you had to be in the USA to get the full impact I feel.

True to an extent. But you could also say that unless you are black and from a place of social and economic struggle in the US you are unable to relate. 2pac reached people of all ages, of all races, from different economic backgrounds and from all other the world.

I agree, but I was not saying the people from the USA "Feel him more" I just mean being from the USA you where more exposed to his FAME, he was in the mid 90's (This is not gonna sound right but you should know what I mean) what Paris Hilton is today! whatever he did would be on the shitty news shows and stuff.

like being from the USA you realize how Famous he was at one point, and knew too much about him really!

Ah I see. I agree with that as far as UK is concerned. Hip-hop only got big over here after 2000. There was the odd track. Cali love was big, Changes. A few Snoop tracks. But most people of my age were listening to Trance, then Garage and then House. It was a lot harder then to get rap music in stores, now they have huge areas for rap. And to hear it on the radio.

Do you know what - you have a point , however read the posts on this thread and other threads , people are attacking Candyman everytime he posts , this guy obviously represents pac and is trying to put his music and his vision accross with guys who obviously knew him - Shock G for example , and he still gets hammered every time he posts here by people who like - you and me are fans . Now i have never claimed to be a Tupac o.g. fan but it annoys me ,when people who obviously know fuck all about what went on ,have such knowledge that they can be 100 % sure Candyman has never wrote a track, or had been in the studio with him when they were obviously playing with power rangers and being spoon fed food from their parents when tupac was alive and kicking it . Now i come here like many to learn little bits and pieces that i never knew and enjoy the forum , not to spread shit or gain fame , it just seems to me that at the present time everytime someone posts an interesting piece or asks questions they are not sure of they are attacked by so called experts who seem to have this secret knowlede that only they know and expertly can put accross - BULLSHIT IMO . People in another part of TB asked why people are leaving - well i know dam well why Candyman hardly posts and why people are leaving - Go figure kiddies - enjoy your expert opinions and RATE AEOME threads . peace

yea your right for the msot part. i just thought you were saying because your odler you automatically no more about pac than all of the kids on this board.

I do respect Candyman for keepin' it down for 2Pac and stuff but I just don't believe him being on The OG of Thug 4 Life. An alternate take maybe but other than that no. If I'm wrong I'm wrong. Sorry.
