Even though he played a crackhead in gridlock'd.

Maybe him and Tim Roth did it for "Inspiration" and he got hooked for a couple of days, but then stopped. You never know.

um, that would be heroine, not crack, that they did in that movie.

Anyway, Pac probably at least tried coke, but its safe to say he more then likely NOT an addict. He criticized the drug in various songs and I think because of his moms addiction, he was against using the drug in general.

But before the silence began 2Pac yelled out: "You better stop killing those babies or else I'll murder you myself!" I sat with my camera in hand wondering. "Where did this come from? But I didn't have time to think about it for long. Tupac was now yelling: "I taught you all about harming those babies. Keep it up and I'll murder all you motherf*****S." With that I started looking around the arena to see if anyone else was as shocked as I was. Then I started thinking that it must be a skit or some part of the act. But then I looked in his eyes, I was very close to the stage and I realized that this wasn't a skit 2Pac was dead serious! Before he could get to his next song, the audience started throwing coins at 2Pac, and he wasn't going to take that. No way. "I don't know who the f**k you all think I am. You motherf*****s better stop throwing shit at me!" He then offered a 200 dollar reward for anyone to bring an offender to him on stage and said: "He will get you paid, but he will die tonight."Again, I was shocked! Where was all this coming from? Did a coin tossing incident cause this violent reaction? But what came next was even worse. People in the audience started throwing up gang signs at 2Pac and taunting him. That did it. "You can flash them gang signs if you want," screamed 2Pac, "but I'll kill all you mother******s this is Thug Life!" Then he invited people to come on stage and try to "kick my ass"! Thug Life rushed on stage to be with 2Pac and I started thinking that this looked like a scene from westside story and when I thought it couldn't get any worse, it did. A shouting match occured with a guy in the pit (great just where I was). A member of of Thug Life just kept at it. Suddenly the guy threw a cassette on stage and then a water bottle was hurdled at him, I started thinking what this looked like as arena and the Mecca security tried to guide the people out so they wouldn't get trampled. I was glad to be out of there safely, but I felt I had to find out what happened! Later I interviewed the cheif of security, Sgt. Delroy Roberts, who told me that the police had to kick in 2Pac's dressing room door! They made everyone kneel with ther hands behind their heads as they searched the dressing rooms. they found two semi-automatic weapons. No one admitted to knowing about the guns. As I was leaving, people who had been in the audience were saying, "What was wrong with him?" "Has he snapped?" "We all could have been killed!" And we could have! I was shocked and saddened. Why did this happen? I had just witnessed another chapter in the troubled life of Tupac Amaru Shakur.

That thing about the babies could be him being "sarcastic" about the cases on how rap lyrics influence kids to do bad things... i see it as him going crazy about the people having that mentality that lyrics "kill" and harm kids.

FUCK all Ya'll. Tupac said he didn't use it and all you guys can do is speculate this and that but the man said it himself. Watch the special feature section on the Tupac Ressurection dvd. He's saying he never used it. Tupac had a temper but that doesnt mean he was on coce!

"Up in the studio getting blow, this be the truest shit I ever wrote."

Addiction? I doubt it. Did he use coke? I guess so.

gettin' blowed, also means smokin' out..........or smokin' weed.......it doesn't have shit to do with cocaine.....it strictly means smokin' with this metaphor....in other instances it could just mean gettin' fucked up

tech n9ne has a song called "Get Blowed" and it's all about weed smokin'......Bone Thugs have said in numerous weed songs "get blowed".....in these instances, it refers to weed.....

just because the word "Blow" roughly means "cocaine" don't get the metaphor twisted and mis-interpret the true meanin'.....

Pac didnt say anything about a killer or being abused on Against All Odds, infact he didnt say anything that could be seen as anything other than truth, so why lie in the hook?

Against All Odds is different. It's an airing. But it could still refer to weed. And if it didn't it's not evidence.

But a lot of people are using the fact Pac mentioned sherm, or coke, or heroin in songs. So he must use them. That's what I meant. By that reasoning Pac was a killer, and a victim of abuse.

Like I said though, it's hard not to try these drugs when you are around them. And it's not like he had to worry about money, at that time. I'd be stupid if I believed everything 2pac said. Like a lot do.

Damn it, CRACK AND COKE ARE NOT THE SAME THING.

lol Not this again.

Oh and for the record, its pretty much assumed knowledge that Death Row was moving a lot of weight in 1996.

Im no snitch so I wont go into details or say anything that most people dont already know, but yeah, Pac was around coke, all of Death Row was.

With Pac, a lot of stuff happened behind the scenes he didnt even rap about, and shit, still does I guess.

Agreed. It's obvious he was around all sorts of drugs. They're everywhere. Especially in the circles he moved in. It's hard to resist, but Pac was strong willed. I'm open to the fact he may have not touched harder drugs, but in reality it's hard to believe. Although I'm pretty sure he never touched PCP.

cocaine has this image as being a horrible drug, but to those who have experienced it or been around it, it's really not that big of a deal. power cocaine has a proven ZERO addiction potential physically. addiction to cocaine is 100% mental. cocaine does not rob you of your facilities like alcohol or marijuana. if pac liked coke, then good for him. it changes nothing. moreover, i think it's a little more than inappropriate that people talk like they bumped shoulders with the man.

Damn. I've found someone who actually knows.

I tried saying that cocaine isn't really physically addictive in there. Too many people disagreed. So I threw a tantrum. :D

When was this and what was it all about??

I was referring to the "Wu-Tang Manual" RZA says he dipped he smoked PCP to increase his high and it made him go into a trance-like state where he actually thought he was a superhero. He went out and actually bought a bulletproof car seen on the cover of one of the Bobby Digital albums. Ive never tried it, but i think PCP could fuck you up in the head ^^^^^^^^

True, Pac never mentioned HIMSELF doing PCP. I think like Rukas said..all kinds of shit was going down and Pac wasnt into it. Maybe the reason he was killed was they thought he would snitch. Probably not, but i guss it could be a theory.

Did Pac ever DEAL crack is a better question?

He never talks about Pyrex and chopping up grams and shit like Raekwon & Ghostface do. But i'm sure he did it. Even if it was just for a day "You aint meant to slang crack you a rapper fool"

you don't slang crack "for a day." pac had no reason to do that, moreover he never would have after seeing what crack did to his own mother. pac never big ups crack dealers in his songs, unlike most other rappers.

people associate powdered cocaine with freebase or crack, which both have physical addiction properties. what they fail to realize is when you base or rock up cocaine, you've altered the mollecular structure, and therefore the side effects as well as the high. powdered cocaine is one of the safest drugs in terms of addiction, but of course it is not without other side effects. people fail to realize that caffeinated beverages are more addicting than a big fat line of coke.

Have ya'll ever read his poem You Are Tearing Us Apart sayin' how his family got fucked up because of Afeni's use of cocaine, ain't no way in hell he doing that shit after what he openly thought about it!

I knew Pac was hooked on coke ever since Danny Boy gave that interview and he said he went in Death Row studio one time and he saw Pac and Storm snortin lines off Lady of Rage's chest

i want see that interview... sounds bullshit..

The only evidence i have suggesting that Pac used cocaine. Is from one on the last songs he recorded? (Hell 4 a Hustler)

''Feelin ashamed of cocaine, the product of the devil, am I sellin my soul?''

This implies that he my have used it. I dont think that anyone here can say whether he used it or not. But given the facts that he was a workaholic and recorded at least 3 songs a day. Under all the stress, pressure and drama i would say yes he might have used it to keep him going but in small amounts.

Cocaine is not crack damn dont they teach kids about drugs in school these days.

And also his mom used Crack not Cocaine.
