I know you work at a Toyota dealership so I wanted to ask you a question instead of going there and sounding like an idiot.

I have the 04 Tundra and I noticed that in the 05 & 06 models, the tail lights have a different/sleeker design. I also have the back window with that middle glass pane that slides open. Is it possible at a Toyota dealership for them to somehow put those tail lights in and swap my back window out for the window where it all goes down by control? I'm not concerned about price I just want to know if it's something Toyota would do.

I don't want some sales rep there trying to get me to get a newer model or anything. I'm very happy with my Tundra. I don't even do pimped out shit cause I think it's amateur, but I want those two features...bad.

I don't work for Toyota anymore. Anyway, both of those things can be done, but I don't think the dealership is where you'd do it. That type of stuff is customization, and you'd have to go to a specialty shop.

Regarding the taillights, to have those retrofitted can get a little complex. The curvature of the lights has to match that of the truck, and if it does, then to put them on your truck, they would have to alter it by cutting away part of the sheetmetal to make it fit. Then comes the repainting. That's a lot of work just to fit taillights.

Regarding the power sliding rear window, it depends on which model you have. It's also a lot of work, and installing that on a truck that doesn't already have it will eat away some of your interior room to fit the area where the window retracts into along with the mechanisms to make that happen. This is why that option is only available on the double cabs, because they have enough space to do that. The access cabs are already a little tight in the back, hence the sliding window. Besides, something like that would set you back quite a bit.
