tupacmansion said:Well a picture of a prophet, a bomb on his head embedded with islamic writing and you ask whats the insulting part!
If you read again, i was asking YOU what you found insulting, the bomb or the whole thing about artists making pictures of the prophet. I got that answer.
tupacmansion said:It shows the artists hate for Islam, it doesn't even show what aspects of Islam he hates.
Actually, i think the bomb illutrates perfectly what he hates about islam, the fanatic terrorists using the quran to justify thier ways, but thats just how i see that picture, and people view art different from eachother.
tupacmansion said:This is a religion which many people see as a way of life, you can't just show hatred towards the whole religion without reason.
Again, thats freedom of speech.
tupacmansion said:yes, but this doesn't mean freedom to hate
There must be limits, how about a totally racist picture would you agree with that?
Yes it does! people may then choose to ignore or attack the person verbally if they feel its wrong.
And there are laws against religious and racist statements in this country, but it isnt like you arent allowed to speak negatively about something.
tupacmansion said:true, they should just ignore this rather then give the artist publicity.
And thats the whole point!
