That's pretty tight. I didn't know he went around doing speeches or whatever. This might be the last Dalai Lama ever man, you better sneak in or something.

Yeah that's dumb that their charging cash for that.

I met him when I was a kid and he gave me some "lucky" powder telling that "everything will be alright".

So you were put on drugs by the Dalai Lama when you were younger?

They're actually charging tickets to see the Dalai Lama?

That's just pure irony.

He's a champion of peace, not a communist. I'm not sure I see the irony.

Besides, imagine if the entrance was free. People would camp out for days, the day of the visit would be a havoc to secure.

Yeah I can understand that havoc part, agreed.

I thought it was funny that a wise man that preaches love, brotherhood, being not materialistically focused but spiritually. And if you want to see him speak, you have to pay us first.

That I believe to be a pretty good example of irony.

He's also pro-life and an advocate of gun laws. So, fuck him! :D

But, yes, I can see that. However, I forgive that type of irony because it's just so normal now, if that makes sense.

Doesn't someone have to pay the ticket taker or the usher or the guy doing nothing but getting paid for it, maybe the electric bill, a cleaning company for afterwards yadda yadda yadda. Is it really that crazy that it cost something.

Yeah the cost of having the speech in the first place. It'd be interesting how much he actually gets for himself or whether that goes back to Tibet or to a charity or what..
Too bad you couldn't go though, that would have been cool.
