Wasn't good for my mom, either. She had Moderna. First dose was mild symptoms and she slept it off. Second shot, she felt it within hours and was done for the rest of the day and then the next day, too.
My dad keeps controlled drugs in the house because who knows? And ended up giving her Fioricet. Probably unnecessary but I guess it was for the high dose Tylenol more than anything.
I'd say just stay hydrated but you're probably done with the symptoms now.
CDC relaxed the mask requirements for vaccinated people. Chicago sporting events are going to be at 20% capacity for vaccinated people. I know some cities like Atlanta are hoping for 100% capacity by the summer, but that's the South for you.
The NFL draft was today and I'm curious to see if anyone tests positive from the event. They claimed everyone in attendance was vaccinated and most were still wearing masks but I saw some moronic meatheads out there without them. We'll see what Cleveland's numbers are like in a month.
Sharp stabbing pains in all of my joints. My whole body hurt. Thankfully it only lasted about 12 hours and it’s over now.
So the CDC said vaccinated people don't have to wear masks outdoors. Big mistake, even if the science backs it, which I'm not 100% it does. You're going to get a lot of anti-vaxxers claiming to be vaccinated and having an excuse to walk around freely. I guess it hurts them more but it could still hurt others who are not able to get vaccinated and relied on herd immunity.
I still plan to wear my mask everywhere. I've gotten used to it and unless the vast majority of the people that are around me at the time are also without a mask, I'll feel like I'd still be getting judged by people. I don't carry my vaccine card with me at all so it'll be a hassle if I were to be questioned by the owners/management of a place about why I'm not wearing a mask and for proof of vaccination.
I still see the morons walking around with chin-diapers. I was at Chick fil a yesterday and a guy was waiting in line with his nose very much out. I bet that guy is excited to finally not wear a mask, whether he's vaccinated or not.
I think private businesses still have the right to enforce mask-wearing and deny service so why go through the trouble of looking up to see if a restaurant requires it or not and risk being turned away? Or carrying a mask everywhere just in case. Might as well just wear it and not worry about it.

While it's definitely not a chronicle of all of society, I was just reading the first few posts in here and thinking how we had no idea how long COVID was going to be an issue. We were more concerned with the supply of toilet paper, soap, and hand sanitizer lol.

So the hypothesis that this virus came from the Wuhan lab is gaining more and more traction as it gets further disseminated. And the US gov funded this research, so they are co-responsible for all this if true. Like I said here last year, it seems likely it came from the lab. No new facts have been added to what I knew then but more expert voices are voicing concerns.

The plot twist is that the US was involved in the lab this thing potentially came from. Expect some of these experts to commit suicide by two shots the the back of the head and jumping out a window.
The right wing nutjobs and conspiracy morons might have been right about something. I expect it to be covered up pretty well, if true, and the US continues to isolate itself more from the world as a result.
I read about this and it's sad that's what it takes to get people to get their shots.
i dont know man. There is no way something like this stays quiet. Think about Bill and Monica. There were two people in the world who knew about it and it still came out. Think about how many people would have been involved in something like this and now all of them have lips of steel? i dont know.

- yes, there was a US intelligence report suggesting a outbreak in Wuhan/no, such report does not exist.
- we don’t know if SARS is air borne/experts are starting to think that the virus spreads through aerosols.
