Technology converting to MP3

how do i convert a song into an MP3, keep in mind i have no high tech programs and i still edit photos in paint(why i wrote that i don't know)

masta is right on with that dbpoweramp, but beware that you can only have so many conversions TO mp3 before you have to buy the right to use it without limit. you can, however, convert from mp3 for free and for as long as you like to other formats, like wav and whatnot.

i suggest converting to wma once your mp3 license runs out, there is really no media player or computer that will not play it.

and i still edit photos in paint(why i wrote that i don't know)
