Technology Converting RM to mp3?

Just wondering if anyone knows how to rip an RM format to mp3 so it can be burned? I have this track that's been sitting on my hard drive for months now and I'd really like to burn it. Any advice? Thanks in advance.

Damn, all of these programs can convert WAV and mp3 to .rm but none of them converts .rm to mp3 or WAV anymore! GODDAMMIT!

Yeah, try Streambox Ripper. It's an earlier version, and from what I can tell it might convert Real Media files (I don't have any .rm files to convert, so I can't be sure).

Once you convert them to WAV then convert the WAV to MP3.

RealAudio-to-Wav recorder doesn't work, or what? When I go to open file, I go to the file that the song is in and open it but it's empty! with the Streambox Ripper it says I have to get RealPlayer G2 player, which costs $199.99!!!! I guess this just isn't gonna happen, might as well delete the song

what real player G2 is FREE and so is real player 8 the best one of the all.

Don't install 10 the best one is 8 when you go to install make sure you anwser NO to all specail offers.

Do you have the normal RealPlayer? It might just be that you need certain codecs or files. Try downloading the free player and try again, if you don't already have it.

I have RealPlayer 10.5 Plus, the latest one and Streambox Ripper still says decoding of the file requires external codec. Please download and install G2 Player. And Makadon, when I went to real.com I couldn't even find the G2 player, and when I looked it up the only thing I found was the G2 studio and it costs $199. Ok nevermind, I got rawav recorder to work, I just had to change the settings to all files when opening files. I had it set to find .ra media only and I have none. But it worked finally, Thanks to all who gave some info :thumb:
