make sure you back your shit up before you reinstall the OS...

and try doing a system restore...try a month back....that should take of anything...

Oh man are you kidding me? reinstall windows again? I just did that recently. I have about 70gb worth of things to back up. I didn't have problem doing that cuase I got me external HD whcih I bought for very same reason (backup) but still, I recently did the back up and now again. Isn't there any other solution. Illuminatille where are you wizard you'll have some better solution.

It's not happening on any particular program. It happens randomely. To be more specific I have this habit refreshing and right mouse clicking on random things all the time lol and some freezes accur when I right click and refresh and before it does refresh that it froozes right on that time calapsing thingy. Also, double clicking to open program, clicking on links, go, back exc buttons, double clicking to play music that too. So, It basically happens rondomley on random things.

Yeah used to happen on my old pc all the time but he says it's not, but like the other dude said check your fans, run a sweep of your pc with a good antivirus and spyware software.

I did the clean up from inside best i could. i opened the case and took out fan which i have two and clean them, cleaned all dust and all and still when i turned back on it still had that rough sound during the windows start.

I want to re-install the windows. I did the back up. now i want to re-install the windows even though i dont want to. but the problem is i dont have that CD with drivers installed in it. i dont know if im explaining right way but i dont have CD which installs drivers for internet. other then that i have all CD's to install. so if i reinstall now then i'm gonna have to install drivers for internet to work which i dont have so i wont be able to use internet which means i will get stuck like last time i did windows reinstalling i didnt know i didnt have those drivers so what i did is i took comp to mechanic and he installed for me which caused me money. so to make long story short, can i get this CD with internet drivers installed in it somewhere online or anybody has them that can hook me up. i'd appriciate this.

I had this famous blue screen come up just now and now im certainly doing reinstalling but before i do that i need that CD with drivers installed in so i can get back on internet after reinstalling. anybody know how can i get that CD?

you could get that cd from your computer manufacturer...i think....drivers meaning for your pc card or something?

No forget about that. i already found that CD and reinstalled the windows and as you can see im using internet again. but its working weird. its not working like it was before. i use optimum online so i call them and ask them to help me get me back on internet again after reinstalling. they made me use some usb cable thats pluged in comp and back of the modem and thats how my internet is working now, but before i wasn't using that cable and internet was working without it just fine. but now its working but with that cable being pluged in its working weird and not fast enough.

As i shown you pic above, Ethernet controller,video controller and video controller vga compatible only things i haven't installed back on after reinstalling. i searched and used all the CDs i had but none of them supported these three things so i cant get them working. how do i make them work do you know?

had the same problem on my computer until i did a reformat... my computer would freeze for like 10 seconds each like 10-15 mins... do a virus scan and also get a patch for a Sasser.exe virus that was on my computer.

If its the memory do a scan on PCpitstop.com and also a defragmentation of the hard drives might help

yeah i had the same problem and had to reinstall those 3 also... what kind of computer do u have.. because i have a dell and they give u a disk with the drivers for it

I have Dell also. but like i said i used all the CD's i had that came with the computer and none of them supported those three things.

Ok let me look and tell you one by one which CD's i have just in case and maybe you tell me with which ones should it work,in case i missed anything.
I have the following:
1)operating system cd (which is not for them abviously)
2)drivers and utilities (such as modem,phone tools,drivers,diagnostics..)
3)dell color monitor user documentation (html,drivers inf icm ca files)
4)cyberlink power dvd 5.3
5)sonic recordnow 7.3
6)sound blaster (also no, this is for audio)
7)logitech quickcam
8)dell photo printer 720

These are all the CD that came with the comp when i bought it.

Tell me which ones will work for each of those three programs i mentioned (ethernet controller,video controller and other video controller) if it will work of course. if not then do you know which CD am i missing because then i'll go and find them in store and buy them if they sell them.
