Actually I think the training standard of US armed forces and UK armed forces are about similar. So, no, they're not better.

i have never hunted, and i have never been to a farm before. ...mack has admitted to curling before though. i'm guessing that tha_dan has engaged in several of my outlined canadianesque activities on more than one occasion.

my mind wonders how one can wear capri pants without copping frost bite though. enlighten me. woolen knee highs?

and while the uk may have the same tactical and grunt training as us troops, the military budget differential pretty much stops any further similarities beyond that point. there's only somany ways you can teach someone how to pull a trigger, no?
