Anyone see the new GM? I saw it on display yesterday at this show.

what's actually the point/ purpose of these cars?

To expand technological bounds. It is innovative and creative thinking that moves society forward. They are new, interesting and weird. It isn't about what you like and what you dont like, it is about setting out or carving a new direction for the future - it might be a new standard of style, or for enhanced aerodynamics - it might be for functionality or greater environmental consideration.

Apart from that, what is the point in having any difference in the make or shape of a car? Essentially they all do the same - get you from point A to point B, but that's just not interesting. Competition for new ideas keep the industry moving as well as the consumers interested, aware and willing to spend.

The bonet is too short.
Could u use a bigger hood(bonet) which can help in bigger air damns to reach the greatest top speed atleast for these days.(200MPH).
it's a photoshop as it says, no need to try and be smart.

That, and Mercedes doesn't need "bigger air damns" to reach 200 mph plus.
Recently Brabus put one of those terrifying 6.5 liter V12 AMG units in an E-class. A wee bit of aerodynamic modding and they hit 350 km/h with it. That's 218 mph.
