I just got back from it and it was crazy good. Kazi, a rapper who graduated from UNC in '99, opened up for him with 9th Wonder. Then Common came out and opened with "Go!" He went through all the Be songs and did a couple of others, including his verse from Kanye's "Get Em High." He also gave some shouts for Kweli and Mos. The craziest part was he did a freestyle about UNC. "Down the Street Franklin." He was naming dorms and everything. Crazy.
Common was great, but his DJ, DJ Dummy, might've stole the damn show. He was crazy one the turntables. He used Rob Base's "It Takes Two." He was doing behind the back shit, this girl put her hands on his eyes, and she got in front of him and got all on him and he was still hittin it.
