Whats the basic guideline with colour co-ordination? i pretty much suck some days when it comes to colour co-ordinating.....

[if this thread seems gay, ive been hallucinating today] :thumb:

cant help man i get the same shit time to time.

slightly off topic when did this section start????????????????

Well, if you got them green, white, and yellow air forces and rocking a purple shirt with blue paints, you're not color co-ordinated.

It's pretty easy.

Just match like colours.

Also black and white go with everything. They're neutral.

But like Sofistik says, green and yellow shoes with blue clothes. Not matching.

if your wearing more then 2 colors of the rainbow in the same outfit stop it at that cause then it'll really start to look bad.

remember stick to basic colors that go woth everything(white, black)

You guys are boring as shit. "Stick to white and black" wow, NO. Black and white is good but just dont stick to that. You can wear blue and yellow, that shit matches good, whoever told you different is color blind. The way i always do it, no matter what color you are wearing bring out the subtle colors. Say like you got an all white shirt with something red in it, wear some shoes with a little more red in them, bring it all out. Be a little different, be original, something missing these days. Don't just go with the normal black and white, be bright, your clothes should match your personality, make it like that.

anyways as i said yes it can be boring but i said stick to it yes you can always add colors no one said you can't just dont go crazy on it, sticking more then 3-4 colors are bad if not the same shade...anyways you do have to restrict yourself you cant go out with a yellow top, purple pants and green shoes unless your job is looking like a clown you can't pull it off.

I dont think there are any guidelines 2pac4prez, different people can pull of different looks. Meanwhile, some colours just dont suit certain people. One thing that I think is really tacky is when people go for a monochromatic look - you know, too many different shades of the same colour....
It's good when people mix and match different colours. There's too much black around, particularly in the cities...walking through its just a sea of black. But then, black matches everything which is why it is good.

You know, if you were gonna get guidelines from anywhere, it'd be from watching Queer Eye - Carson has good fashion sense.

Yup I agree, and besides everyone is different and different people suit different things. I have friends that can pull outfits off so much better than me and vice versa.

Ok, as most people have said, there are no basic "guidelines" when it come to colour co-oridnation. I've found a website for you to help you out. But before i post it, just remember, wear colours that compliment each other. Don't wear too many colours. And PLEASE, PRETTY PLEASE, never wear pink and red or red and orange together.... EVER.
In reards to your blue shirt, you have a choice, you can go blue jeans, black jeans or white pants. What i love wearing is dark blue pants, with yellow shirt. They compliment each other alot.
Anyway here's the website. It talks alot about colours, so it will help you out heaps:

Try to match ur clothes according to ur fullbacks...

most hat's only have at most 3 colours on them...(not counting black and white) like, baby blue, yellow and white...or red, yellow, and black...

if you got a red full back, then try to match it with a red tee, or a red tee under a white shirt....
