For anybody in college whats your major and what made u pick it? im still kinda undecided but i've narrowed it down to a few choices between either marketing, computer science or communications ..im leanin more towards communications tho cuz i'd probably need a hell of alotta math with the others ( i hate math)... but what are your majors and what are u trying to do with those ?

Well I'm going to college next year and I'm probably going to major in Economics. I want to eventually get into politics, so by getting an Economics degree through my undregraduate studies and a law degree through my graduate studies, I think I'd be pretty well-rounded.

ChildCare, Lets me play with toys and be a immature little bitch with kids on mondays and tuesdays. and on Wed, Thurs and Fri i get to kick it with 40+ Females.....

i'm not in college yet.. got a few years before i attend.. but i'm either going to major in journalism or get into digital sound or music engineering

Automation and Robotics (i hope that i write that good :p )
mechanical department
im on the first year so for now mainly i have math and physics and programming and stuff like that...
but i like it :) :thumb:

i am doing a double degree in Economics and Finance, i have always loved economics, since i started taking it in highschool 5 years ago..i am in my second year in university, plus i love mathematics

mechanical engineering with a focus in bio mechanics...then after a couple of years in the field i'll go and get a degree in patent law.

I wanted to be a doctor but i couldn't stand the bio and chemistry series that i had to take...so I figure I would get into the bio mech field and focus more on the math and physics behind medicine (artifical muscles, bones, etc) and then become a patent lawyer so I can work on the cutting edge of this industry.

I suggest anyone that enjoys math, physics, and problem solving to look into this. It is becoming an extremely popular field and a lot of money is being put into research.

I'm doing a double degree - International Politics for one, Law for the other (there's no major within that the way they structure it here). I know why I picked International Politics - it is interesting and relatively easy to get good marks in but as for law....hmm, still dont know why I am doing that - better options as a graduate I suppose.

I droppped business because economics and accounting were too much for me.

I am now doing law.

I bet most High School students will change their minds after they get to college. Some will stay with what they're already with because its too much of a hassle to change. Trust me, you don't really know if you'll like your degree until you get there.

I went with business because I consider myself an entrepreneur, but I guess Economics wasn't my thing. You need to be a focused person, and your math knowledge better be highly developed.

Get In The Van I Have Candy said:
I already have a bachelors in Criminology & Corrections in the field of Sociology. Great times in college great times...
just curiousity if u have a job...
is the job that you have now relevant to what u did in college?
or was your employer just looking for a university degree?

I'm studying business but I don't like it, I chose it the day before classes started. :D At least there are lots of jobs for people with a degree in that, and I think that after some time I'll start liking it.

Besides, I'm still young, and when I finish this I can study other things I like more, so I might change my mind in some time. For example, I love journalism, but there are not many opportunities for journalists here. I'm planning to study that after I get my degree in business.

Try not to worry too much about this, if you realise that your choice wasn't good you can change to something different any time you want. Being undecided is normal, just relax and do what you feel.

I'm heading there next year. Hopefully I'll be studying B.E.S.S. (Business, Economics & Social Studies) or History.
