i've downloaded several torrents for the The OC season 4 episode 2 and all the videos don't wanna play because it says there's a codec error. Now.. if it was one video alright, but all of them? does anyone knows what i could download to make those videos work? cause the sound works but the movie itself (the pictures) won't appear in my windows media. i have windows media 10 if that can help resolving my problem. i'm pretty pissed right now. can't watch my videos and this sucks. they are .avi videos too.

nevermind i needed the xvid codec and i found it.

you should just download VLX Media Player , it rocks! You can watch literally every single video file with it , and the best part is : you can even watch interrupted/unfinished downloads

yeah, you should just get the VLC player, it will help prevent future problems like this. it will even play KVCD files that are meant only to be burned and played on a DVD player and not on PC. but if you have VLC, problem solved.

all i did was download the codec package from google!
Works for all sorts

i got the 'kazaa lite codec package'... has worked wonders for years, and no, you dont need kazaa lite or anything else. it will allow all media players to use the codecs.
