Kevin Smith is a genius.

Who else loves these movies? or any other Kevin Smith films

(Dogma rocks! so does Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back- I haven't seen Mallrats or Chasing Amy yet though)

Anyway, Clerks is a classic.

My love for you is ticking clock, BERSERKER! Would you like to suck my cock, BERSERKER!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL.

And I just watched Clerks II, lmao the scene with the dude and the horse is majorly fucked up.

I really, really hated Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back.

Well, I love Jay & Silent Bob the characters, so I was in paradise. Plus, the movie has Morris Day & The Time in it - who are one of my all time favorite bands. AND they perform 'Jungle Love' at the end.

*nods head and hums Jungle Love*

So yeah, Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back ROCKS!

Jersey Girl was OK, probably because it didn't have Jay in. That guy pisses me off so much. This parts of Dogma that didn't have him in were decent too.

Kevin Smith movies are great, on it's own Jersey Girl would have been seen as an good film but it just does not fit with the rest of Smiths work and all the bullshit with j-lo and Ben Afleck did not help. I actualy enjoyed it.

I love the Evening With Kevin Smith show also, was hilarious in places.

LOL, just thinking about Jay's "Prince ass-shake" at the very end. The guy is a nut!

I've loved all the Kevin Smith movies since I accidently caught the first Clerks on TV like 10 years ago. Chasing Amy is actually one of my favourites, it's a bit different styling to the "crazy comic-book style" of the other movies but it's still funny, deep and so many great quotes, also it's a huge piece to the continuity of the jokes/stories for the movies that follow it so you gotta see it.

I thought Jersey Girl sucked but I watched that "Evening with Kevin Smith" the other night, if you need any more proof of his genius then watch that, the guy is brilliant and it's really interesting to hear the backgrounds to all the movies.

whuuuaatt!?!?!? you havent seen mallrats or chasing amy? go rent now!!!

mallrats was my first kevin smith film so i love it.

but back on topic yea the clerks series are great. i personally think two is much better than the first.

"Evening with Kevin Smith" was one of the funniest 4 or 5 hours of my life. so much great back story and the guy is just so damn funny. another must see for any kevin smith fan. his story about him working on the early pre-production of the superman movie was just great. had me rolf. the guy can tell a great story.

i never saw jersey girl until the past summer when it was on tbs but i actually liked it. i thought it was a little different for him and an over all good film.

By the way mate, if you haven't seen it already you're gonna want to watch that "Evening with Kevin Smith" DVD. Apart from the most interesting 3 hours of watching Kevin Smith tell some amazing stories about his life, friends and his movies, he tells what it was like to "work" for Prince and pretty much confirms the bizzare behaviour of the royal purple one in a 15 minute yarn.

Very interesting, especially about Prince having made 50 full feature music videos, with storylines, actors etc, from songs that are in the vault that me and you will probably never hear let alone see the videos for.

love the movies. Jersey Girl really doesn't count because it's not in the viewaskew series. If I had to rank them in order I guess it would go like this

1. Chasing Amy
2. Mallrats
3. Dogma
4. Clerks
5. Clerks 2
6. Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back

If you guys haven't seen it yet, I guess you pick up a copy of "An Evening with Kevin Smith" It is video of different Q&A sessions he did at some Universities. Really funny stuff and a lot of inside info on his movies and life.
