Christopher Hitchens

As I am sure some of you know, Christopher Hitchens has esophageal cancer. But up until now, it hasn't stopped him from writing. Last week he missed his weekly column for Slate Magazine. One must deduce that this could be it. I highly recommend checking out his memoir "Hitch 22" and maybe a tacit toast for him with his favorite drink "Johnny Walker Black Label."

He missed his Slate column last week because he was getting radiation treatments (Fukushima plant) and they have side effects, but the column came out yesterday and, hopefully, he will be around a bit longer. But he has been on borrowed time for a while.

In other atheist news, Dawkins turned 70 a few days ago.
