Film & TV Christian Quits The WWE

In a shocking announcement, the official WWE website has confirmed that SmackDown! superstar Christian has quit the company.

Jay Reso wrestled his final match with WWE for the time being at last night's Smackdown tapings. Smackdown was taped yesterday because of Taboo Tuesday by the way. Reso quitting WWE is very much true and not a work. One reason that led to his sudden departure is that he was given a new contract to sign one week ago as his old contract had just expired. WWE officials wanted him to sign the new contract on the spot. He refused to sign the new one. He came to work last night to do another job and then he quit. Also, WWE.com has removed his profile from the Smackdown page.

I don't blame him. WWE fucked up and wouldn't push his character.I mean cmon,christian was one of the most over,and just when you think it was it,he's gonna get his big push,he gets slapped in the face.I'm sure TNA will use him better if he decided to go there.

christian has the best personality! at least i think so anyway. i like all the cocky people on wrestling like bischoff, chirstian, etc... and i always go for the underdogs, which always seem to be these guys.
too bad he left. what a shame.

Bad news, but i cant blame him. I hope they start using people properly or Im sure others will begin to follow. Im dreading the day that Shelton Benjamin leaves or gets cut without fufilling his potential.

Austin is gone aswell. Cant say i blame him either if the rumours that he was to job to the Coach tonight are true, that would be just plain stupid.

Torrie Wilson has also mysteriously disappeared from sight.

Incidentally, there haven't been many real-life brother-brother tag teams in the WWE. The Harts, the Hardys, Kurt and Eric Angle, The Rougeau's, The Steiners...Harlem Heat didn't wrestle in the WWE.

Most of these "brother" tag teams are thrown together because of physical resemblance.

What ever happend to Lesners Football career ?? i know Matt Morgan was cut but his stutter gimmick was awful , waste of a good talent imo . I also like Christian - shame he has left .

The Japanese like their American wrestlers to be powerhouse types. I think he'll work TNA, Ring of Honor, the larger indie feds.

Word has it he spent his WWE paychecks wisely, so he's probably not in dire need of steady income.
