Yeah. I think he was justified in being pissed off, his reaction was a little intense, but that's fair enough.

What surprised me the most was that he was going off on the actual Director of Photography of the entire movie, not just some random worker.

As the audio recording showed us all, Christian Bale has one hell of a diva side to him - not to mention being extremely unprofessional and an all-round douche supremo.

Back in July of last year, the British wacktor was caught on tape by the sound guys going crazy on the set of the upcoming film Terminator Salvation. Bale started bitching at the director of photography who began to adjust the lighting during his scene.

So, now that the audio has leaked online, the movie's assistant director, Bruce Franklin, is trying to spin this as much as possible, though it might be pretty difficult considering that Bale was heard on tape using the word fuck 35 times.

Frankling says, "If you are working in a very intense scene and someone takes you out of your groove… It was the most emotional scene in the movie. And for him to get stopped in the middle of it - he is very intensely involved in his character. He didn't walk around like that all day long. It was just a moment and it passed. This was my second movie with Christian, and it has always been a good experience with him. He is so dedicated to the craft. I think someone is begging to make some noise [controversy] about this, but I don't think it's fair. The art of acting is not paint by numbers, it's an art form."

Bruce Franklin is an idiot!

Reports reveal that Bale has a history of throwing tantrums, especially on set. Even his former publicist said Bale has a temper, adding that when the actor was a teen, "If something wasn’t just so, Christian would just erupt. He would yell until he was red in the face. It was very intimidating. When he filmed a movie called Metroland with Emily Watson, his nickname on set was Tandy because he was always throwing tantrums."

Sounds like someone needs anger management classes. Pronto.
