Been on my mind what other ppl do cause my parents and I get into tons of arguements about my chores.

Do your parents make you do them?

Do you get paid to do them?

What is it do you do around the house exactly as chores?

Do you think you do alot or too little or just enough a contribution if its the case?

No, I do them when there's no-one home and it's gonna be a while before someone cleans up.

Wash the dishes, make all the beds, hoover up.

Too much considering theres 6 people in my house and only me or my mother do anything.

If both are in employment both should share the chores, if one isn't they should deal with the majority of the chores.

Outta my own free will cos it's kinda hard to see the T.V when theres hundreds of 'Coke' bottles in front of it.

They did when I was younger, but it never worked for them, I've always been a rebel. Now I do them cuz I'm too tidy

cleaning my bedroom, laying the table, that stuff, nothing too difficult, I don't spend a lot of time in my house.

A lot, my sister is too lazy and sometimes I end up doig her chores

As I said be4, I do it cuz I'm extremely tidy and I don't feel ok if the house isn't perfect

* I maintained the lawn, did dishes, took my little sister from A->B, helped my little sister with her homework, cleaned, and did whatever random task a parent asked me to do.

* I'm sure they made me do it when I was little, to reinforce certain values. Now I'm an adult and understand what happens if things don't get done.

Ah.. I live with my grandparents. I ain't got any chores whatsoever. I clean up my mess and help out where I can.

Plus I pay them rent, so everything balances out at the end of the day

Well I'm 21, so there isn't much that my parents can 'make' me do anymore. It's like the 4 of us in the house all share duties.. I do stuff like cleaning the bathroom, loading the dishwasher, washing clothes, cooking, feeding the animals, vacuuming, dusting and general tidying - basically whatever needs to be done, although it varies week to week and also depends on how busy I am with study. I like that I was raised this way - everyone does their bit, there's no male chores or female chores, it's just everyones chores.

Wash dishes and just clean up in general for the most part. I'm always bugged to clean my room up, and I always tell her the same thing: "If you don't like it, don't come in here!" And she retorts with that "It's MY house, I'll go wherever I want!" stuff. XD

Free will, most of the time. Although I do get bugged a lot to wash the dishes.

To be honest, my mum still tries to baby me and likes to do some of these things around the house, although she won't admit it.
