has anyone here got a chiped ps2, also are chips easy to install.

i got the matrix infinity chip by far the best ps2 chip available, it has its own software and some great functions, if you gonna get it done do it from someone who knows how to do it, trust me its not easy...

also they are illegal in the uk so you'll have to find someone that fits them

nope it does not, they must have bought some fucked up chip, or done something to the ps2 themselves, mines works perfectly, trust me if its done right its all good

the matrix infinity chip fixes ps2 problems too, it fixes black n white screens, fixes the green screen on dvds so you dont need a scart cable and also stops unnecessary signals going to the laser which might damage it, plus you can download firmware updates off their website

I got mine chipped about a year back, its worked perfectly fine ever since. Its a good idea to get it done if you want to save some money on games. Also make sure you get it done by someone who knows what they are doin otherwise you might end up fuckin ur PS2 up.

well you can buy it off the net for about £30, mine came from canada

and it depends whoever fits it for you, how much they charge you

trust me its the best ps2 chip available, read the sites

i got my ps2 chipped in 2003, got it done for £35 from a computer show, mine aint fucked yet, if urs fucked up u must have a dodgey supplier

my friend does that shit for everybody but i dun let him touch mine cuz his excuse is that his isnt messed up and he got his ps2 when it first came out but he didnt hook the shit up it was his brothers friend so i dun really trust him cuz dudes that have had him hook their shit up have had to get new ps2s
