Chipped Tooth

Anyway, last night I chipped my tooth. I really don't remember how I did it. It's a very minor chip. It's on the front of the tooth at the bottom rather than along the bottom. So you can't really notice it unless you're looking down on it. It has a rugged groove that cuts my lip on the inside and I need to make an appointment tomorrow for the dentist. Blah blah blah....anyway, has anyone every had a chipped tooth fixed in some way? Tell your story...

dentist will just smooth it over or apply sealent if it's big enough.

This I know. Originally I chipped the tooth 2 months ago and even then it was nothing major to even complain about. It smoothed out. This is a continuation of that chip.

Same thing just happened to a co-worker a couple weeks back. Dentist basically created some sort of cap that goes over the tooth which makes it look completely normal. Problem is that the cap will wear down after 2 years and you'll have to decide whether you want to get another one or get fitted for veneers (not too sure how these work.)

I chipped my tooth on a curly wurly out of my selection box on boxing day

Anyway to cut a long story short turns out the dentist that did the filling i had on that tooth cracked the tooth when he did it, so when i ate the curly wurly it chipped and pulled away all the cracked bit.

had to have a crown on my tooth which was 3 hours in the dentist chair and £350 later

got my front tooth chipped when i was in highschool during a football game, nvr went to the dentists it did smooth over in about a month as dante was saying.

ummm...I can see ur silly as on aim right now...we did have a group chat that somebody was to good to participate in a few weeks ago.
