Childhood Toys and Possesions

What toys or possesions did you have as a kid, but years on down the road you either sold them to somebody or just threw it in the garbage. thinking "Oh this wont ever be worth any money, I'll never want to play with those toys ever again".

Fast Forward to 2006. kicking yourself in the ass for getting rid of the items you had as a kid. looking on EBay hoping to buy back a toy you got rid of back in the day.

Or going to a flea market just hoping you see your favorite toy on a table for sale. or trading cards for sale.


My biggest regret was selling my He-Man figurines. (Like most of you who collected them) had quite a collection.>>> sold those to a neighbor for $100 dollars. (What a dumb thing to do :fury: )


Also i even sold my OG Garbage Pail Kids trading cards for $50 bucks to the same Neighbor. (I Miss those so much )



Do any of you still have your toys from when you were a kid?

i have... a few cars but cant find them.
i remember i had a spiderman toy, and i think a power rangers red ranger action figure.

man , i would sell you my shit for cheap , but i am all the way in Africa , i got all of that shit in a box lying around somewhere.

got them He-man toys (even the castle) , shitload of batman toys , simpsons and dinosaurs(from that old tv series) toys list goes on .

I used to have a green stuffed parrot (Woody) that I carried everywhere when I was like 4.. Till a dog ran up on me outside, literaly took it from me, and ran away.. That scarred me for life..

I still have all my Wrestling figures, i have about 75 or something, theyre locked away in the attic.

I used to have a mad collection of GI Joes, I don't know why... Anyways I used to destroy shit I think when I was a kid cause after the age of 10 If I owned something it would look new forever.

There were alot of toys and possesions I had when i was younger, but something that comes to my mind is the first book I read, "Danny and the Dinosaur", which has more sentamental, then cash value.

Once had this Shera's castle (dunno if thats how you spell her name... she was like a female spin-off character from He-man I think). Anyway this castle was awesome.... until Dad threw it out. Thanks Dad.

Also had some pretty cool Barbie stuff - a spa bath and salon set... also spring cleaned by my Dad. Fortunately he didnt throw out the Barbie Ferrari!

i had a fat collection of rare beanie babies with the tags mint condition until i was 14, then i gave them to my lil bro cuz i didnt want stuffed animals in my closet nemore cuz, my brother played with them and ruined most of the tags, and we gave them away 2 years ago

if my bro didnt ruin those, we cudda kept em for a long time and those things are worth ALOT of money with the tags in mint condition
