hmmm, i see that this could be a problem. last time we had shoutbox around, most people were too busy in there to post in the forums and posting on the board in actual topics dropped way off. hope that doesn't happen again, but my guess is that it will.

Nah, I think it will stay active. People want to be active in the forum these days. Alot of good threads lately.

well there was then too. plus back then it was on top of the page so you could check the board while using it. now you gotta go into a separate forum to see it, and if you leave you get lost in the conversation. i like that it's back but i still see it bringing the board's overall use down.

Just open the chat in a seperate window that way you can still check the boards while in the chat.
