^^lol.Anyone with any bit of football knowledge will tell you that the standard of serie a is not as good as La Liga or the Premiership.There are just too many poor teams in serie a.Outside of AC Milan,Inter and Roma, there isnt a whole lot.And im saying this as a big Sampdoria fan.There present side is no where near as good as some of the teams they had in the 90's.Juventus coming back up will help.

Italian football is shit and boring...
We can all apply a neutralising tactic, Bolton do it every week. But it doesn't mean that the best team won. Look at Liverpool and Chelsea.... Chelsea are easily a better team than Liverpool. Who won the Semi?
That's why it is a cup... Be it the world cup... The FA Cup... OR the Champions League... It is a knockout... It isn't about consistency... Anyone can win on any given day....
I admit though. I was cheering for Milan. They have a good (But decrepid) team. I hate the scousers and the fact they actually think they have a good team. Rafa is a genius, but Liverpool are boring and negative. AC Milan and Inter are good teams. But the rest of Italian league football is shit. As for them being World Cup champions..... Could have been a lot different on a different day... But no matter what day it was England would never have been there.
And while we are in this thread... Let's not be girls and get upset that people don't like the teams we like. Yes, Italians have long girly hair. But it doesn't mean they need to act like they are on their period, and neither do their fans....

The only thing I'm excited about the Italian League is that Napoli is back in Serie A, and they have some great fans.
every1's got their own opinions on which league is the best i was jus showin some stats on whos dominatin in football, most people dont even watch the italian league but still think its all defensive and boring, if u watched the english league in the last 2 seasons they been playin that defensive boring game alot (FA CUP comes to mind). i aint spittin shit out u jus did that.

And I agree... People like Benitez and Mouriniho have made their teams defensive in order to win. Following the Italian Ethic. But Man Utd won playing great football, and hopefully Madrid will too.
All I have to say is that it was a very shitty match, and I copped out during half time to play total war 2.

Serie games wise isn't boring..
The 4-3 Milan derby was awesome, along with Inter 4 -3 Cheivo or AC Milan 4 - 3 Siena.
Roma 6 - 2 Inter
Not a boring league at all games wise..although the league itself was a one team league, which should change next season as Milan looked more consistant near the end of the season especially when they solved their striker problem with Ronaldo.
oh and Deepa the strength of depth of La Liga showed in the Uefa cup, the fact they had 2 midtable teams in the Uefa cup (one knocking out Bremen and Benfica) shows that.
