Legendary New York rappers, Capone-N-Noreaga, have come together again for the release of their first album as a group in eight years. The album, Channel 10, will follow-up the 2000 gold-selling release The Reunion.

"I'm proud to be working on a CNN album, a lot of people have been begging for this to come out," N.O.R.E. explains.

He goes on to describe his excitement about recording with Capone. "We recorded the whole album in the studio together. We want the music to be really good and it came out hot. Plus we own our masters."

In addition to owning their masters, the duo says the new album shines because there were no obstacles to overcome like there were with past releases.

"All the past albums had obstacles," admits Capone. "This time we were able to come together in the studio -- record together, not over the phone, in different cities. It really shows in the music. We are really interacting in the whole album. We are giving the fans a whole different feel, a whole different texture and it is going to show in our music."

Channel 10 boasts production from DJ Premier, The Alchemist, STK, and Play-N-Skillz, while guests include Fat Joe, The Clipse, Dogg Pound, Maino, and Uncle Murda.

The first single is the Alchemist produced "Follow The Dollar," and is expected to leak this month with a video slated to begin filming toward the end of the month.

C-N-N met in 1992 while serving kitchen duty together at Collins Correctional Facility in New York. In 1996, they released their first single, "Illegal Life" through Penalty Records. Unfortunately, their album releases stalled throughout the years because of Capone's incarcerations, the duo only released two albums as a group.

Channel 10 will hit stores October 21 on SMC Recordings.
