Can anyone confirm that 'INITIATED' was Pac's song or was it jus Dogg Pound ft. Pac ?

Need to know, if this song was intentionally recorded for Daz record or if Daz just used it for his album though knwoing that Pac and the Outlaw Immortlaz recorded that for their material.

One the one hand it would make sense, that this was really Daz record, cause as we know, most of Pac's unreleased collabo's after 96 werent taken by his rap partner but were left to Death Row/AMrau, so this case would set an example for the opposite, that Daz was supposed to be the main artist of the song.

but on the other hand, it REALLY sounds like a ´MAKAVELI (owned by Pac) song, because..
1. Pac does the intro (typically fro him)
2. It feautures the Outlaw Immortlaz.

So what is your guess ? Or has it been stated once somewhere in teh net?? Who was supposed to use this song ???

Thanks

It can be both even though i think it's a 2pac song since he does the intro. Daz just used it for his album on Death Row caus after pac's death many OG pac songs have been released on soundtracks / compilations / albums by Suge

whoever's stuff is whatever
like Cali Love, it was a song meant for Dre's album on DR but ended up being a song of 2Pac.
in the possession of a song, there's not a copyright for the artist, there's a copyright for the owner, Daz stolen bouch of 2Pac songs before amaru could become the owner, and released one of 'em

^^^no shit it just never ceases to amaze me how these people dont own classic albums ......its like they were into backstreet boys then all of the sudden they heard changes and became pac fans.......

After Pac's death,a lot of artists (like Bone,Scarface,Daz...) who had recorded songs with him released them on their album, obviously to increase the sales of their album...It doesn't mean that it was not a 2pac song but it automaticaly became a "person X" feat. 2pac song...

Technically, that's incorrect. The track initiated was a deathrow track, and Daz was still on Deathrow in 98 when his album was released. So at least with this song we know it wasn't stolen. Secondly, Amaru has/had many lawsuits against individuls pending, preventing them from releasing the pac material. In other words, unless pac was the guest on another artists track, and pac was already paid for the said verse, then amaru can claim ownership of the pac materials and thus prvent there release... regardless of who owns them. This is why so much unreleased material has yet to be released, because many of the partners pac worked with can't get permission to release what they have.

Finally, in regards to the "whoever owns it is the owner comment" it's whoever owned the materials at the time they were copyrighted. In other words, anything pac copyrighted belongs to amaru. The way you explained things it would be ok for me to release Soon as I get Home, since the masters are lost, and since I own an mp3 of it. (Soon as I get home masters being lost is purley rumour for those that do not know.)

well tha Thug Luv' thing I do consider as a Bone Thugs ft. 2Pac - song.

That's because they made a remix with 4 members on the song so it looks like a 2pac appearance.

The OG can be a 2pac / Bizzy song

well judging from all comments made in here, it would be legit/justified to view INITIATED as a Pac song, since no oppsoite-evidence could be supplied. ;)
