Buzz builds for ECW show

Finally, the ECW "One Night Stand'' pay-per-view is taking shape, and WWE is making up for lost time and flexing some promotional muscle. Five matches officially have been announced for the June 12 show, including Lance Storm (with Dawn Marie) facing Chris Jericho, Rey Mysterio taking on Psychosis, Eddie Guerrero battling Chris Benoit, Tajiri vs. Super Crazy vs. Little Guido in a three-way dance, and in a battle of some of the biggest stars in ECW history, the returning Dudley Boyz meeting the team of Sandman and Tommy Dreamer. Many other big names from ECW's past have been confirmed for the show, including Rob Van Dam, who said he has healed enough from knee surgery to maybe even get in the ring. Van Dam was told in January that he would be out of action for six to 12 months. Let's hope the suits in Stamford don't ruin the show by having an Eric Bischoff-led invasion of ECW take away from what could be a classic night.
AROUND THE RING: The only announced match so far for Vengeance is Triple H vs. Batista ... Shawn Michaels is recovering from a fairly significant knee injury and has not set a timetable for a return. ... WWE basically has decided to put the women's division on hold while Trish Stratus and Lita recover from injuries
