business relationship between death row and amaru today

what's the status quo?

after "better dayz" i remember amaru entertainment saying that they'll will never do business with death row again.

there are still so many unreleased songs pac recorded during his time at death row records.
i don't know the details, but i think suge has still a hand in the pot concerning these songs and i don't believe that suge will let amaru release death row period stuff without f*** 'em because of copyright issues.
can someone give an update?

Suge cant released a pure 2pac Death Row album cause Amaru's gonna sue him like a mo-fo, BUT, Suge CAN release singles. So like a single track over a certain period of time. The only way we're gonna get to hear some serious Death Row shit is if Amaru and Death Row squash beef and make another insane album like "Until the end of Time".


edit: afeni has some 2pac shit aswell, but i think Suge has the better tracks IMO. The next 2pac album - if Death Row will NOT get involved - might not be super hardcore 2pac/gangsta rap/west coast shit, but it'll be more of a "me against the world" sounding album.

I like how Death Row releases most Pac stuff as-is, with minimal changes. Unfortunately, it takes them like two years to put out anything. I mean, what Pac songs have they released on their own without Amaru Records (after Afeni won all the songs in court)?

* Friends (remixed, probably due to sampling issues)
* Thug Nature
* Don't Stop (thank GOD)

Five songs in the past seven years. But at least they did it right. (I didn't really count Gridlock'd or Gang Related, Pac still oversaw some of that stuff himself, plus it was before Afeni got complete control over Pac's catalogue.)

I believe its more videos, more footage, more songs, more unreleased songs, more everything from pac, that suge and afeni's has, but i doubt we get to see or hear any of it. Damn shame too.
