Anyone know how? I have the full version of Nero 7 Ultra Edition, but it doesn't support .mkv. help

what do you mean? .mvk is not a disk image, it's a video/audio file. You can burn it like any other data.
Just choose to create a new data disk and simply add that file.

i wasnt clear enough..

i want to burn the .mkv video file so i can watch it on my dvd player...not on data.....

i know one way to get it on dvdr so i can watch it on my dvd player..which ive done before...but i do NOT want to convert the .mkv file....mkv is HQ from blue-ray..so converting would lose quality..i need a plugin that will enable me to burn the .mkv to dvdr so i can watch the movie on my dvd player

it's impossible, you would need a dvd player that could read .mkv. You have to convert it to avi, even a good quality avi or loseless avi. It's the only way I think.

I don't think so, ISO is a disk image file. There's no point in doing so because the file itself will still be .mkv

I've just been researching and discovered that when you are converting burning it to dvd, it will convert it to mpeg2 so you'll never get blu-ray quality on a normal dvd.

I'm not sure how it works with video dvd's but I always recorded even HD avi's on dvd as data and played them on my xbox and it was ok. Also when I played it on my friend's pc it was in it's original quality.

U just wanna watch it on a normal dvd player? You will have to convert it to the right resolution etc, but it'll still look pretty fucking good.
