Technology buring a cd

is there a way to make the sound louder? cos all my copied cd's are very quite compared to a cd that i brought from a shop.... is there a way?

^Youre probably encoding them wrong. I would suggest using cd-ex (http://cdexos.sourceforge.net/)to de-code your cd files to WAV files. Then use Nero Burning rom (www.nero.com) select the song you want to add more sound and right click and open audio editor. The song is going to be shown. Then click on volume and select volume change. See what level is appropriate for you and save it.
