Technology Broken PS2

Okay my PS2 has been making grinding noises and it won't play any of my games. What should I do? Nobody in my area fixes them. And I really don't want to buy a new one.I've thought about selling it on EBay.

Anyone got any advice?

If your warranty is still good, take it back to where you bought it and it will be fixed. If your warranty is expired, however, you're pretty screwed. It would probably cost more to have it fixed than it would to just go buy a new one.

I've had it for 3/4 or so years so I'm thinking it has expired.

Do you have the UK number? I've been looking for their number but I cannot find it.

the laser is probably fucked. gettin a new one is less of a hassle and would end up costing you almost the same as gettin it repaired.

^^^^ I'm hearing that if something is majorly wrong I might as well get a new one. I'ma have a go myself on Sunday if I haven't found any help.
