This is my new beast fellas...

3.0L V6 1971 Scimitar...

Having it resprayed metallic black, chrome fittings...

Black leather interior with white pinstripes

Engine to be tuned, and if cash allows supercharged (TVR supercharger)... :fury:

Bit of a shit tip at the moment...

I can tell by your reactions that you have no idea what your looking and talking about. Your both from the other side of the atlantic... and you call this a monstrousity?

Take a look out on your roads, before you comment.

Dickheads.

Puffin:

that is ugly. that shouldnt even be called a muscle car

Do you even know what a muscle car is?

Not all muscle cars have to be American. A 1971 Scimitar is a british muscle car, period. And maybe you don't like it. That's fine.

Personally I think it's great to see someone is still keeping these cars running. It's also an interestingly different type of muscle car when compard to your American oil tanker size cars. :)

that shititar is not a muscle car, it is british trash:)

lol@ muscle car bootlegg.. def not a muscle car...

3.0 litre is no where near muscle car status... now it may pack a big punch but no its not

definately more of just a sports car just like a supra

muscle cars have like crazy 6 L. + engines...3.0 is what tuned up civics have. You got yourself a "classic", not a muscle.

Oh dear. Your 6.0L yankee muscles cars performed like pieces of shit. The performace of them didnt match the size of the engine.
The handling was atrocious, and the were not very economical.

Yes, they had eye popping accelaration due to the V8 engine.... but their top speeds were pretty shit for an engine that size.

This is half the size... 3.0L and if properly tuned to racing standard... It would match and probably surpass your dodge charger. The only things american muscle had going for them, are the rugged dirty looks, the sound of the V8 and capability to eat stupid amounts of petrol...

Who refined the art of muscle cars?... you guessed it... the brits... and instead of shitty automatic gearboxes like most of them had (3-speed) the brits stuck in a 4 speed manual. At the time, this was a massive break through... Instead of having the need to refil every 1/4 miles, the brits concentrated on making it efficient on fuel.

Even in todays market, a 3.0L engine is a very big engine to have.
You americans dont know shit about cars thats why your cadillacs, lincolns and other pieces of shit you produce dont do well in any part of the world apart from the states.

With the cheap interior design and poor handling, and the ability to make the owner bankrupt with the art of drinking petrol.

This car cannot even be put in the same class of a supra, and a supra has a different "modern" style of engine which is ECU controlled, While this is twin carbbed.

Yes it is a "classic"... but so are is the Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic or
Duesenberg SJ Mormon Meteor. But weren they super cars of their day?

And to say that muscle car is an american term... well... Super/ultra car is a european/south east asian term... so the viper, corvette, GT40... and any other fast cars you have produced are not supercars. Instead we will label them "Faecal Matter" which sorta covers most things that the US export.

Thank you, Hizzo. You've shown yourself more knowledgeable about cars than the people that hopped in here and dismissed it as nothing when actually they knew jack all about it.

The definition of a "muscle car" is not that it's American and pushing over 6 litres.

The more I think about this the funnier it gets. The Yankees waltz in here, see something that is not as big as what they know, and they immediately give off on it, when i bet my testicles none of them even knew what a Scimitar was. That's the type of worldwide arrogance that ensures people fly planes into your towers but ok. I won't turn Hizzo's thread into a political one. So either keep this to discussing his car or crank open a good debate on the definition of muscle cars.

lol hes not right.. fuck that

i guess thats why the gt 40 punished all cars back in the 60s circuit races including your beloved european cars includin farrari

and actually.. ford/GM sell plenty of cars in euroland and other places... thats actually where they make most of there profits since the influx of imports in to america.. which to say theres nothing wrong with that cause audi is my fav car

but when u post a 3.0litre car, statins its a muscle car i spit on you. it could have been 5.0 and i prolly wouldnt have said nothing but thats 3litres...fuck thats

its a sports coupe.. nothing more nothing less than an old ass miata with a dr jerkyll front end

muscle cars= chargers, 351 mustangs, novas/chevelles with 350 and up Cubes, GTOs, bla bla bla....

lets be serious... what made more of a mark on the industry.. a 3litre Scimitar or a hemi charger with a slapstick transmission? or maybe a 68 2+2 mustang with a 390 under the hood and a 4speed manual?

just because it is a sports car, does not make is a muscle car. if it doesnt have a v8 its not a muscle car. plain and simple.

that first generation miata that can be picked up and put into my back pocket is far from ever being a muscle car. it may be a british sports car with nasty ugly teeth, but it is far from a muscle car. it may do good for you at getting the attention of homosexual men when you pull up to the gay bar, but that shit doesnt fly here. your miata is gay.

i find it funny how you want to diss cadillacs and lincolns. your ignorance makes me laugh. cadillac motors last forever. and when i say forever, i say it like the kid on the movie "the sandlot" FOOOR-EVVV-ERRR. before you speak on our classic cars learn about them first.

if you take a RoadRunner GTX from back in the day and push that Hemi engine to tha fullest, you'll fucken blow it up. Theses things were unstable...but they could leave tire marks 1/4 mile long. They had serious torque. 400 hp did em well too.
