The album was originally "History in the Making," but was later changed on BET Awards 2008 to "Pedigree" and then changed to "New Jack City Pt. 2". The promotional single "Marco Polo," featuring Soulja Boy will be in the new album. According to a message left by Bow Wow October 25nd at 8:07am on his SayNow page the official first single will be "Baby You Can Have It All". Also the album might be put back to first quarter next year, around Valentine's Day Guest appearances confirmed include Soulja Boy, Chris Brown, Swizz Beatz, Jermaine Dupri, Lil' Wayne, 50 Cent, DJ Khaled, Yung Joc, Nelly, The-Dream, T-Pain and T.I.. Bow Wow will also be dropping a mixtape with DJ Infamous before the album called Half Man, Half Dog. Bow Wow also confirmed that this will be his first album with the Parental Advisory sticker on it.
On October 28 Bow Wow released a freestyle rapping over 50 Cent's single "Get Up" entitled "New Jack" to promote the album.
