Not only is this the funniest movie I have seen in years, but it is also the most important, for Americans at least.
Many people who go see this movie will just laugh at Borat not realizing the underlying plot. Americans are fucking stupid. As an American it was embarrassing to watch some parts of this, we got a rodeo manager saying we should hang gay people and that Borat should get rid of his mustache cus he looks like a Muslim and no one wants to looks like that. We got frat boys sayin we should have slaves and complaining that minorities have more rights than us(white), meanwhile one was still pounding it to Borat that women are nothing. Then we got good ole southerners at a dinner dealin with Borat bringing his own shit to the table and saying things that were more than offensive and the only time there is a problem and the police are called is when a black lady shows up. She was a prostitute but its not like the hosts knew, thats besides the point anyway.
I feel as if most of the world will think the majority of Americans are like that, cus they pretty much do already, and this cements it. Yes the people in the movie were a, I hope, small percentage of how most Americans think but damn, it was pretty damn embarrassing.
