If they light up in public here syn or indoors (after the smoking ban) you will get fined etc - if you smoke in company cars for example the company could get charged.

Here where I work, at The Mailbox in Birmingham, they have banned smoking on the immediate outside vicinity of the property...we have to walk down by the canal now, which I don't mind...it's pretty soothing lol.

Yup, that's how it supposed to be but it's not. It sucks. Was supposed to be no smoking in the building at all and no smoking within so many feet of the entry way of public buildings... but it still happens everywhere

All the people here have to smoke at least 2m away from the office or company vechiles.

I feel ya. This girl who is one of my best friends, well we don't talk as much anymore but we've been super close all high school, is drunk every night sometimes drinks a 40 of vodka or some other hard alch to herself. It got to the point where we had to have someone from the group be her designated care taker every night. She'd be spilling shit all over the place, starting shit with everyone, hurting herself, losing her phone. Hell we even have to names for her, drunk Jamie and sober Jamie. I mean the girl is 17 and she drinks a 40 to herself on a friday night, I'm scared of the alcoholic she's going to become.

like I said before no scratch that fuckin peopleare crazy in that they over analyze shit whether youre drunk or not why's it matter so much i mean i know youre not sitting there when somethings happenin like "hmm I wonder if they believe that.." I'm from Down. Drinkin is a big problem, true. I was drivin home through the town cuple of nights ago, Downpatrick if you know where that is, and I came round a corner. There were 3 drunks just standin on the other side of the road, fuckin crazy.
