A Los Angeles judge ordered Thursday, February 27 that Cleveland rap group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony has to pay over $200,000 in damages to a concert promoter for failing to show up for scheduled tour dates in Japan.

According to NBC Los Angeles, Bone Thugs entered an agreement with World Mix Entertainment LTD in 2006 to perform in Nagoya and Okinawa in Japan in December of that year but the group failed to appear at the Los Angeles International Airport to board their flight.

World Mix, a Japanese based promotion company, filed their lawsuit against Bone Thugs in Los Angeles last year.

World Mix claimed that they had to refund fans who had bought tickets for the group’s shows and they had also paid for the group’s show money and air fare. The promoter also said they paid for the promotional cost of the tour and specialized catering for the rap trio.

U.S. District Judge Dean Pregerson ruled Thursday that World Mix is entitled to $205,510.40 for damages, interest and court costs.

Bone Thugs reportedly didn't adhere to the court’s pleas to make a court appearance in the case and a lawyer never showed up in court on their behalf.
