I've seen girls attack other girls looks because they're jealous. When this girl Ashley came to our school in 8th grade, all the guys were all over her. She's fine, but all the other girls, inlcuding the hot ones, talked to much shit on her because she was getting all the attention.
Also, if you want to figure out how girls rate other girls, think of it like this. Say you think a girl named Melissa is a 7. Melissa's close girlfriends think she's an 8.5. Girls who don't get along with her think she's a 5.5. Just add or subtract and point and a half to take into account girls' feelings. That's just how their minds work. Guys just judge based on looks, whereas girls can't ignore personal feelings. That's how it is in high school at least.

But that's not what really pisses me off, what pisses me off is that EVERYONE in the world is shallow. EVERYONE, every single one of us (despite what you say) are nothing but shallow bastard. We're all puddles... some may be a bit deeper than others but we're still all shallow.
Say 2 people are a perfect match personality wise. Mr X and Miss Y. Mr X is an average looking guy and Miss Y is very attractive (or vice versa, it doesn't matter). Mr X and Miss Y will probably pass each other a million times in life without ever realising that they are the 'soul mates'. Mr X's jaw will drop everytime he see's Miss Y, he's heart will fasten etc etc, and Miss Y will just carry on without really realising anything else, just carrys on walking.
If the first thing we actually saw was personality rather than looks (which is impossible), the world would of been a happier place.

I agree. The world would most definitely be a better place. Unfortunately, we as humans have beliefs and mis-understandings about the appearance of other people.
People with money, fame, power, are have a far better chance at meeting some amazingly gorgeous people. While these gorgeous people are nice to look at it, they may not fit the personality that he/she is looking for, but they're blinded by the money, the power, or the fame. People have it inserted in their brain that poeple with these qualities, are more trustworthy then people without them.
I'm going off track with this, but I just wanted to talk about looks and personality a bit.
If you're interested in this theory, read the book " Influence " by Robert Cialdini. It kinda touches base with what this thread is discussing.
