Skillz is probably the biggest ghost writer in rap. He never specifically tells who he ghost writes for, but it's pretty clear that dude writes for most of the big names. He's a fuckin' ill rapper himself, I just wish he'd blow up already,

DOC was also one of the biggest ghost writers too. He was responsible for alot of the hits of the early westcoast 90's. Such a shame that his voice was fucked up in his accident. His albums are the fuckin shit!

I knew Bad Boy to be famous for its sampling/copying etc. It doesn't surprise me Diddy resorting to using someone elses work, and calling it his. Its his trademark lol

I have often wondered about Biggie. In an interview i read, he said that he never freestyles and then in another, he says that he never writes down lyrics on paper.

Well I guess we all know what they meant when they said Biggie, like Jay, didnt need a pen and a pad....on some his shit people were using the pen and pad for him.

Kind of a let down, but Im sure NY will disregard this.

You didn't see it coming because it's bullshit.

These names come from the writing credits. That alone != GHOSTwriting.

Biggie’s "Mo Money Mo Problems" - (biggie’s & diddy's verse) - co-wrote by Mase, Jadakiss, & Ed Bernard
Mase was on the song, of course he gets a writing credit. Diddy's verse sounds like a Jadakiss verse. Biggie's verse? Nope. I don't know who Ed Bernard is.

Biggie’s verse on “Last Days” - ghost-wrote by Jadakiss
Considering the Lox was on the song, same thing.

112’s “Only You” (biggie’s verse) - ghost-wrote by Mase
Mase also has a verse on this song = writing credit. Again, LISTEN TO IT. Mase doesn't have the cleverness of Biggie's corpse, let alone the man while he's breathing, does, say, the Audio Two reference sound like something he'd come up with?

Biggie's "Hypnotize" - co-wrote by D-Dot
D-Dot produced the song = a credit. And COME ON, do you really think D-Dot could've written "Hypnotize" (reference: the Madd Rapper and Two Kings in a Cipher).

He never specifically tells who he ghost writes for, but it's pretty clear that dude writes for most of the big names.
When he performs "Ghostwriter" live he includes the names. I'm sure you can find recordings online.

thanks, you too, but that doesn't help out my question

are there ANY known verses that Dr Dre wrote by himself on Chronic or Chronic 2001??

or any guest appearances he wrote himself?
