Listen, I've heard a lot of trash lately about how the board is dying. This of course, as all OG's know, is not true. The board constantly goes through a cycle. It has its good period, more of a good period, a slight downfall, and then a great depression. What happens during this great depression a combination of things: the OG's (the OG's who are major contributors to the board) take a leave of absense for one reason or another. Mostly I think it's due to the fact that a lot of these newbs like kamikazi get boring and offer nothing new. Frankly, the board become annoying. OG's start to realize it and one by one, we retreat back into real life activities. Eventually, for lack of a better word--we begin to miss the board and come back. Word of mouth brings us all back, one by one. Hence the cycle. In a broad sense, the OG's need to go away to come with some fresh ideas to keep the board poppin. Newbs like kamikazi and zimbabwe off nothing new other than youtube videos or cnn news articles.
But the cycle has refreshed. We are reaching a climax yet again. It is a shame that I even have to make this thread to assure you of this. Again, the board is not dead, nor will it die.
As for the title of this thread, it's the bottom line and the truth. Alcatraz is the sole major contributor of this board. Believe it or not; hate it or love it. We keep the board turning. Alcatraz threads never fail. And they always attract the most posts (note that no thread is under atleast 3 pages long). And we attract the most visitors (note the people viewing the forum when we post something such as an audio). Granted there are PLENTY of contributors to this board, but the collaborative effort of the team known as Alcatraz makes up for a large portion of the living aspect of this board. And when we leave, we are a large portion of why it's dead. Haven't you noticed how everyone complains the board is nothing now? And all the while, we've been away? This is no irony, folks. This faggot named Dante will never live up to what you want him to be. He is nothing. He is useless and his .png file formats will get him nowhere near legendary status in Our Block (stick to the Life forum, Jew).
I mention all of this for a reason. Alcatraz is bringing this board back. I apologize for there not being an audio yet, there's more being put into it than previously thought. We have so much to discuss involving the board. So many to talk trash about, we've left no one out. And as Froggy previously stated in his thread, we have two new audios coming soon: The first audio will be the 3rd installment of the Alcatraz Roundtable Discussions. In this, I will be moderating per usual. Guests will be Frogger, bigmack, Dante, of course Uncle Traz and rumor has it we have phone in's from random board members. The second audio will be just Frog and Myself. This will be non-comedic for the most part. There are some real life issues at hand that need to be dealt with and it's something you should all hear and you will be surprised.
