Use google to find a picture of Hong Kong. The pictures look great but the place was dirty when I visited there years ago. It's true with any city. I look at pictures of Minneapolis and they make the place look great but it's not the cleanest/nicest place.

I don't mean to talk down on Beirut because I'm sure it's a wonderful place. We have members here who are from Beirut and they're all good people. So I guess.... I love you?
