me and mickey have discussed rules.

there will be no deadline, we both just try to get it up as soon as possible. a third party, diaz, has been chosen to post up a sample that me and mickey will both use. whoever makes the best beat using that sample wins. we'll have a vote. if i'm not mistaken, diaz should the sample up within the hour.

Alright, the song is King is Dead by Roy Ayers. The part from 1:12 to 1:22 has been sampled for a Nas song already, but I feel there's a lot more that would be dope to sample.

^hey thats real dope i like that got good energy nice bassline, i think the high pitch instrument works well, overall very nice.

if i cud critise it in 1 way maybe make the main string melody or wateva that is a bit more fuller layer it a bit more with something else.
