Beanie Sigel Released From Prison

#1
The only think that I give a shit about this is, that they hyped him going to jail too damn much... Only for him to come out a short while after.... But w.e....

FAIRTON, NJ - August 10, 2005 - After serving most of a one-year sentence, Beanie Sigel was
released from the Federal Correctional Institution in Fairton, New Jersey at 9:00am on Tuesday, August
9th. Sigel was met at Fairton's gates by his mother, Michelle Brown-Derry, his fiancé Melissa, and
DDMG's Damon Dash and Kareem "Biggs" Burke.

Celebrations will be brief, though, as Sigel plans to immediately hit the road for a series of
club dates to promote the August 23rd release of his upcoming DVD, The B.Coming Of Beanie Sigel - a
rare, candid look into the life of the beleaguered star - including an appearance at New York
City's Club Exit on August 18th. In fact, this will be the first time fans will have had the
opportunity to see Sigel since the March 29th release of his critically acclaimed third album, The B.Coming.

A visual companion to the album - which debuted at #3 on the Billboard chart, the highest of
Beanie's career - The B.Coming Of Beanie Sigel DVD features the uncut versions of the three shows that
originally aired on BET last spring: "The Truth," "The Trial" and "House Arrest," as well as the
acclaimed video for Sigel's hit "Feel It In The Air."

Narrated by Beanie, in his own words, "The Truth" follows Sigel's life and career from his humble
beginnings as a hustler on the streets of South Philly, to his first encounters with Jay-Z and
Damon Dash, to his eventual signing with the legendary Roc-A-Fella Records, to the tours, albums,
movies and stardom to follow. It's a rare and personal look at Sigel - his honesty, humor and
humility.

"The Trial" follows Sigel throughout his highly-publicized trial in downtown Philadelphia on
federal gun charges, as friends and supporters Damon Dash, Jay-Z, Kanye West, and the entire State
Property/Roc-A-Fella family rally around Sigel. "The Trial" is an astonishing real-life look at a
dedicated circle of friends and a man fighting for his life amidst a swirl of media, paparazzi,
recording sessions and video shoots, as he prepares to be locked away from his loved ones.

And "House Arrest" depicts the month at Damon Dash's NYC apartment as Beans tries to beat the
clock to finish his album before he goes to jail. Experience Beanie's frustrations with his curfew,
and share in the celebratory dinner with his Roc-A-Fella family the night before his sentencing.

I can't believe he don't get down with State Property anymore. I thought he put them on? He was onMTV saying they didn't support him at all while he was in jail. No visits, nothing. Is he still cool with Jay-Z?
