Tupac Shakur will be honored by the Bay Area 11 years after his untimely death.
The event, titled All Eyez on Me, will be held at Suite 181 in San Francisco after the VH1 Hip Hop Honors event, which is to be held at the Fillmore.
The red carpet event, which will include a wine-tasting reception, photo exhibit, and spoken word excerpts from Tupac's A Rose that Grew from Concrete has quite the guest list: Big Daddy Kane, MC Lyte, E-40, Richie Rich, MC Hammer, Too Short, Dwayne Wiggins, Matt Barnes and Digital Underground are just a few of the attendees.
The Bay Area's DJ Fuze of Digital Underground and DJ Mind Motion will be manning the music for the event.
All Eyez on Me is open to the general public, and part of the proceeds to the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation.
