Band sticker mistaken for bomb threat

A kid at Ohio University Athens had a sticker on his bike promoting This Bike is a Pipe Bomb (which is a great, folksy band I used to listen to years ago).

You guessed it, they shut down the block, cut his bike apart with hydraulics, etc.

How stupid is that? I mean, do people normally contact sticker companies and have bomb threat stickers made?

wow...that is great....but i know for a fact the kid put it on there on purpose....its like putting a sticker on your shoe (whoever the hell does that?) that says, "this shoe is a shoe bomb" and run into an airport, take off your shoe, slap the guard with it, and say, "hey, look"... why would the kid do that? thats just asking to get your bike broken apart with hydraulics by the cops right in the middle of math class...
