Maybe the candy characters on the commercials, but when the fuck has Marshall Mathers had "trouble staying fit"? Until recently, he's NEVER been even an ounce overweight. Matter of fact, back in his SSLP and MMLP days, he was too fuckin' skinny.

As a rapper, yes, if 50 offered me a contract, I'd turn it down. Of course, you don't believe me, I'm sure, but I don't really care either.

There's a huge thing missing from most of the rappers in the game today, and that's self-respect and honor. There's absolutely no honor in signing w/ someone just to get cash. People who TRULY live for rap music and make it because they love it and not mostly for the cash or to "get fame" don't just sign for the cash. There's an honor to this shit that has escaped most of the rappers in today's game, and that's why 90% of rappers out today are pure shit. 50 is at the head of the pack. Other labels I wouldn't sign with if recruited because of the honor I have for the essence of hip hop and not for my wallet include Murder Inc., Death Row and The Diplomats.

On how I prefer SSLP to MMLP and dislike The Eminem show.

How can you possibly prefer the SSLP era Em to the MMLP era Em?

His lyrics pre-MMLP were about nothing. It was almost as if he just put words together just to rhyme them. Nothing made any fuckin' sense at all and it all sounded like jibberish.

MMLP and TES are just straight up classics. Thought out lyrics, depth to them, he told stories...

There's not even a comparison to the two time periods.

MMLP/TES era>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>SSLP era

Marshall Mathers LP is better than Slim Shady LP in my opinion. MMLP is a classic, SSLP is brilliant, The Eminem Show is ok and Encore is the biggest load of crap I have ever heard.

I agree with Jason on this matter. I would word my argument differently and wouldn't say "It's all gibberish" in regards to SSLP, but I agree with his point.
