At least Suge gave us the Live at the House of Blues DVD and CD, plus a few OGs here and there (Thug Nature, Who Do U Believe In, Late Night, Don't Stop) when remixing was the Amaru thing to do at the time. So he's not all that bad. As long as you weren't signed to Death Row.

ya i'm just playing... i actually kinda liked some of those nu-mixx's now that i look back at em... if they gotta remix the tracks they should do it like that...

What was that shit about a former death row artist was fucked in the ass by some gays who suge paid them to do.

Also I thought Life goes on was half decent, but when you compare it to the og, its pritty shit

Nu Mixx was worse than anything released by Amaru
That's kind of harsh. Based solely on beats, it was better than LTTG. However, the weakness of both albums is that the powers that be of both projects relied too heavily on just one or two producers, which has been mentioned on previous threads. Darren Vegas and Josh "Kash" Andrews did the beats on Nu-Mixx. While none of them were better than the OGs at all (seeing how they remixed some of Pac's most classic Death Row releases), there were still a few gems... Hail Mary, Life Goes On and Never Had a Friend like Me, in my opinion. But the others sucked balls, and the responsibility should never have been on the shoulders of just two producers who hadn't quite proved themselves yet. Same thing with LTTG (NOT INCLUDING THE BONUS REMIXES). While they were all pretty mediocre compared to the outdated yet still better OG beats, there were a few good ones... The Uppercut, Out on Bail and Don't You Trust Me. But the others chugged cock, and the responsibility should never have been on the shoulders of some big-name rapper who wants to give producing a shot, even if he volunteered to do it free of charge and even if it's just old material with seriously dated instrumentals. And it's not like Nu-Mixx ruined something we didn't already have anyway. We have All Eyez on Me, Makaveli and the Gridlock'd soundtrack to rely on instead.

both of them sound drunk and high, so maybe the deliverys are not great, but the emotion and feeling to track is through the roof. great track i can listen to that one song for ages
