Since Jay-Z came out and said it was whack, others have said they liked it and will continue to do it.

Lil Wayne made a fortune off of it.


What do you guys think about AutoTune?

I think it's generally good for certain types of music, but hearing a whole autotuned album is a bit whack.

Kanye killed it on 808, but I just cant see anyone else being able to repeat that success.

What's your opinion?

Honestly, I'm a bit tired of hearing some tracks autotuned out lately.

Hate it very, very much. Kanye was one of the worst people to use it. He has a fairly obnoxious voice as is and a bad singing voice so when you combine that with autotune...

Worst hype in a while.

Edit: It's actually managed to make the Black Eyed Peas even more fucking annoying. But to Fergie's credit she still manages to out-annoy the rest of them with her horrible fucking voice "I LIKE DAT BOOM BOOM POW DEM CHICKENS JOCKING MY STYLE"

I like the fake accent she puts on.

I don't listen to music with autotune. Whenever I hear it I switch channels/delete is off my pc/skip it.
I want to hear clear voice when I listen to the music.

I lol at how people seem to think Autotune is something new, shit, I think that plugin came out in 2002 or something?

Some times I like it, depends on the song.
